Children and youth services are seeking support for the summer holidays of 2026
The Reinheim Children and Youth Services is seeking dedicated supervisors for the two summer holiday activity programs in 2026. They are looking for motivated young people who enjoy working with children and are interested in providing varied holiday activities with an educational focus.
Two holiday activity sessions under the theme "Home"
Under this year's motto "Home is where I feel comfortable", the holiday activities will take place in two periods:
- June 29 to July 10, 2026
- July 27 to August 7, 2026
Together with the participating children, we embark on a creative journey of discovery: What does home smell like, what does it taste like, what does it sound like – and what does it mean personally for each and every individual?
Who can participate?
Young adults aged 18 and over can apply , in some cases even from the age of 16. The most important criteria are:
- Enjoyment in interacting with children
- Motivation and sense of responsibility
- Reliability and teamwork
Training and compensation
All caregivers are prepared for their assignment in advance by attending a weekend seminar . The training covers organizational procedures, pedagogical principles, and legal aspects of caregiving.
allowance of 500 euros for their service , as well as an additional preparation allowance of 100 euros .

“We are looking forward to many interested young people supporting our holiday activity program this year. Perhaps some of them participated in the holiday activities themselves as children a few years ago and would now like to experience the other side.”
