"United in style and history" - jersey for the 2025/26 season is a tribute to Darmstadt's cultural heritage
Darmstadt - SV Darmstadt 98 presented its new home jersey for the 2025/26 season. Under the motto "United in style and history", the jersey combines stylish design elements in classic lily blue with cultural and architectural references to the city of Darmstadt. Together with supplier Craft , a jersey was created that sets both sporty and historically.
Art Nouveau and Gothic as a creative motif
The new home jersey quotes elements from Art Nouveau and Gothic - two formative epochs in the cityscape of Darmstadt. The Art Nouveau, for which the Mathildenhöhe stands as a UNESCO World Heritage, can be found in the finely ornamental pattern on the front and back of the jerseys. Gothic style elements, such as the characteristic window of the so -called "founding church" on Schlossgartenplatz, are also graphically integrated.
In addition, architectural symbols such as the wedding tower and historical coat of arms - including those of the FK Olympia and the Darmstadt SC 1905 - were integrated into the design. the white lily as the central identification mark of SV 98 adorns the breast.
Light for detail-with Darmstadt lettering in Art Nouveau typography
Collar and sleeve cuffs are provided with a blue and white strip pattern . "Darmstadt" is prominently on the back -designed in Art Nouveau typography. There is a stylized church window with the club's "SVD98" club.
The sponsors have also adapted to the overall design concept: the logos of Haix (main partner) and Suzuki (sleeve partner) appear in reduced variants in white or as a negative pressure-the color mood of the jersey remains consistently blue-white .
Start of sales with schnitzel hunt - premiere against Notts County
The new jersey is now available online and as part of a GPS-based scavenger hunt on Tuesday (July 8th) between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Darmstadt. The GPS data on the mobile sales stand are published on the SV 98 website . The first ten lily fans who find the stand will receive the new home jersey for free.
The regular sale begins on Wednesday, July 9 , in the fanshops on Friedensplatz and in the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfall goal . The price is 84.98 euros for adults and 59.98 euros for children . If you buy an adult jersey up to and including July 22, you can also buy a children's jersey at half price .
First test against the traditional English association
The new home jersey celebrates its sporting premiere on Wednesday evening (July 9) at the test game against Notts County . The kick-off is at 6.30 p.m. in the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfall goal .
