New program “House in Focus” starts on November 1, 2025
From November 1st, 2025, the district will support owners of owner-occupied or rented residential buildings with energy consultations "House in Focus" . The aim is energy-efficient renovations of existing buildings and thus contribute to the energy transition .
This is how the funding works
- Who is eligible for funding? Owners of residential buildings in the Groß-Gerau district (owner-occupied or rented).
- What is funded? The consulting fee of a certified energy consultant (no iSFP subsidy, as this is regulated separately nationwide).
- Funding amount: up to 50% of the eligible fee, max. €150 for single/two-family houses , max. €200 for 3 or more residential units .
- Duration: initially until 31.12.2025 ; an extension until 2030 is planned and dependent on the budget .
- Application: exclusively digital via the online portal on the district website; the total budget is capped (approval subject to availability).
