New program “House in Focus” starts on 1 November 2025
Starting November 1, 2025, the district will support owners of owner-occupied or rented residential buildings with energy consulting "House in Focus" . The goal is energy-efficient renovations in existing buildings and thus contribute to the energy transition .
How the funding works
- Who is eligible for funding? Owners of residential buildings in the Groß-Gerau district (owner-occupied or third-party use).
- What is funded? The consulting fee for a certified energy consultancy (not an iSFP subsidy, as this is regulated separately nationwide).
- Amount of funding: up to 50% of the eligible fee, max. €150 for single/two-family houses , max. €200 for 3 or more residential units .
- Term: initially until December 31, 2025 ; a continuation until 2030 is planned and dependent on the budget .
- Applications: exclusively digitally via the online portal on the district website; the total budget is capped (approval subject to availability).
First District Councilor Adil Oyan: "Every energy consultation helps identify savings potential and target renovations. This is how we jointly drive the energy transition in the Groß-Gerau district."
