Planned projects can be addressed
The budget for 2025 was approved by the municipal supervision by letter of December 13, 2024 - Reinheim is the first municipality in the district to hold this approval in its hands.
Currently, the public display will take place until January 20, 2025, so that the budget is already valid at the end of January and therefore a preliminary housekeeping no longer has to be carried out.
“The early approval of the household for this year, of course, makes it a lot easier for us to tackle projects planned for this year. The constructive work in the responsible bodies and the rapid and very good processing of the figures by the employees is due to the fact that the approval could take place so early, ”said Mayor Manuel Feick.
And further: “Especially at a time when the municipalities are financially burdened, it is a very positive sign for us that we are already holding approval in our hands. I would also like to make it clear here again that the shortfalls in the earnings budget have arisen exclusively due to external influences, such as a high school levy and increasing costs due to an enormously high circular levy. I am all the more pleased that we did not have to make tax increases in property tax B and trade tax with which we would have further burdened our citizens. ”
