Three performances on January 27th – two more on January 30th
With " I'm No Hero! , Theater 3D presents an interdisciplinary narrative theater piece that combines acting, piano, and singing into a moving stage biography. The play is aimed at audiences aged 15 and up and focuses on the extraordinary life of Miep Gies , whose name is inextricably linked to Anne Frank. The work will be performed three times on January 27th with two further performances on January 30th at the Theater Moller Haus .
The production interweaves dramatic scenes with musical elements such as piano pieces, songs, and chansons of the period. Video and audio excerpts from Anne Frank further enhance the emotional depth of the narrative. The staging depicts how Miep Gies supported the Frank family in the Amsterdam annex, providing them with food and information during the Nazi era.
Later she would be called "guardian angel, provider and comforter" – and it was she who Anne Frank's diary , thus preserving an important historical document of world history.
The production is supported by the city of Rüsselsheim , the Old Synagogue Foundation and the Berthold Leibinger Foundation .
