Multicultural cooking studio celebrates Ramadan with Arabian children's group
For over 19 years, the multicultural cooking studio Gari Baldi has brought people from Eberstadt and the surrounding area to beat culinary and culturally bridges. On Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the project invites you to cook and eat together again - this time under a special motto: Iftar, the breaking of fasting in Ramadan.
The venue is the Caritas Center Eberstadt south , in the church fir 33, 64297 Darmstadt. The cooperation partner of the evening is the parents' initiative of the Arabic-speaking children's group, which is accompanied by the German-Egyptian Freundeskreis Darmstadt eV. The breaking of fasting takes place at sunset at 6:50 p.m.
Culinary exchange and cultural diversity
Gari Baldi is known for his monthly cooking evenings, which are always under a certain country motto. The culinary experience is complemented by exciting information about the company, culture and politics of the respective region. This creates a cross -generational, integrative offer - open to everyone who is curious about other cultures.
The focus of the evening is the exchange about customs and traditions of Ramadan . Instead of in the narrow family circle, the Iftar is celebrated in a large community - as a sign of respectful coexistence.
