New opening hours from 11 October – guided tours and Mathildenhöhe Card available
The Mathildenhöhe Infopoint will be relocating after the end of the summer season. Starting Saturday, October 11, 2025, it will once again be located in the Großes Haus Glückert (Alexandraweg 23). The information point will be open to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access to the building is limited.

Transitional arrangements for German Unity Day
On German Unity Day on Friday, October 3, the information point on Olbrichweg, between the Wedding Tower and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, October 4, it will close at 3:30 p.m., and regular opening hours will apply on Sunday, October 5.
Mathildenhöhe Card
In addition to general information, the Infopoint also sells tickets for guided tours and the Mathildenhöhe Card , which includes:
- Use of all public transport in the city of Darmstadt (fare zone 4000)
- Entrance to the exhibition “Nevin Aladağ – Raise the Roof”
- Entrance to the Darmstadt Artists' Colony Museum
- Access to the Wedding Tower
The ticket costs 15 euros per person and is available as a day ticket.
Guided tours on the Mathildenhöhe
Guided tours of the UNESCO World Heritage Mathildenhöhe site take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m. (until the end of October), 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. They last 90 minutes. Meeting point is at the information point on Olbrichweg until October 10, and thereafter at the north entrance of the Darmstadt Artists' Colony Museum (Olbrichweg 13a). Cost: €14.50 (reduced: €11). The tour on Saturdays at 2 p.m. is also offered in English.
Museum Artists' Colony and Exhibition Nevin Aladağ
The Artists' Colony Museum in the Ernst Ludwig House offers a public tour every Sunday at 1 p.m. Participation fee: museum admission (€5, concessions €3) plus €3.
Guided tours of the exhibition "Nevin Aladağ – Raise the Roof" run until February 1, 2026, on Saturdays at 3 p.m. and Sundays at 12 p.m. The tour meets at the museum ticket office and lasts 60 minutes.
Additionally, there are special tours "From the Roof to the Basement – Sound Installation in the Water Reservoir" on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. The meeting point is in front of the exhibition building on Sabaisplatz.
