Workshop discussion on technology, practice and funding
The town of Riedstadt, known for its connection to Büchner, announces that its environmental working group is hosting an information event about heat pumps on Tuesday, April 7th, at Goddelau Town Hall. The event starts at 6 p.m.
Practical examples and technical basics
During a workshop, the fundamentals of how heat pumps work and various system types will be presented. Specific applications – including in older buildings – will also be discussed.
Mayor Marcus Kretschmann emphasizes that heat pumps will play a central role in heating in the future. In Riedstadt, there are already examples showing that this technology also works in older buildings.
Testimonials from the region
Restructuring manager Krick will open the event with an introductory presentation. Experts from the field will then provide supplementary insights
An electrical engineer from Seeheim presents his experiences with an air-to-water heat pump in an older building. He also presents an alternative heating concept using a split air conditioning unit, which is already being tested in a residential building in Erfelden.
The aim of the event is to provide information about cost-effective and environmentally friendly heating technologies and to highlight opportunities for regional energy supply.
