Girls create, play and strengthen community at the X-Presso youth culture center
Nauheim. Under the motto "Just Girls," a colorful day of activities took place on October 29, 2025, at the "X-Presso" children's and youth cultural center of the International Day of the Girl in the Groß-Gerau district. The event was organized by the children's and youth services department of the municipality of Nauheim together with the school social work team of the Schwarzbach School .
Nine girls participated in the varied day, which was all about fun, creativity, and community . Together they decorated small heart-shaped fabric bags , prepared sandwiches , played various games, and filled out an ABC book on the theme of friendship .
Strengthening girls' rights and self-determination
The International Day of the Girl , established United Nations education, safety, play, and self-development . With initiatives like "Just Girls," the municipality of Nauheim aims to strengthen awareness of these issues and promote girls' self-determination .
