Minister Mansoori praises the program as a success – registration still possible until July 18th
Hesse – The statewide internship days in Hesse are in full swing: From June 16 to August 15, 2025, companies once again have the opportunity to get to know potential trainees during one-day taster sessions. Minister of Economic Affairs Kaweh Mansoori expressed his confidence in the program's success during a visit to SCALTEL GmbH & Co. KG in Wiesbaden.
“After the first round, 84 percent of the young people could imagine starting an apprenticeship or university studies at their internship company. 92 percent of the companies saw at least one participant as a potential apprentice. This shows how well this model works – for both sides,” said the minister.
Over 1,000 companies are participating
The Hessen Internship Days are a straightforward platform for connecting young people with companies. Registration takes place via a central matching platform, and participation is free . Over 1,000 companies in Hesse are already participating in 2025.
“Practical career guidance is only possible with the commitment of companies – we extend our special thanks to them,” Mansoori emphasized.
One example of successful implementation is SCALTEL GmbH & Co. KG in Wiesbaden. The company is organizing a total of 17 internship days . Branch manager Jens Lambrecht explained:
“Those who – like us – stand for a secure and connected future must invest in young skilled workers. Internships and school visits are essential for us – we are delighted with the recognition from the state.”
Registration is still possible until July 18th
The internship days are organized by the Hessian Ministry of Economic Affairs , the Ministry of Education , regional OloV networks, and other partners of the Hessian Training Alliance . The project is funded by the State of Hesse and the European Social Fund (ESF+) .
