The second meeting on October 15th at the Open House is themed "Connected?!" – an exchange about faith and personal experiences
Under the motto "Connected?!", the second interfaith women's breakfast will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the Open House in Darmstadt. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., women of different faiths are invited to come together for breakfast, engage in conversation, and share personal experiences.
The focus of the meeting is the question of what connects people with each other, with God, the universe or nature, and in which situations this connection becomes noticeable in everyday life.
Impulses from three religions
Short contributions from Christianity, the Baha'i faith, and Islam are intended to provide inspiration for discussions about commonalities, differing beliefs, and personal life experiences.
The women's breakfast offers an opportunity to learn about other perspectives, share experiences and make new contacts.
Breakfast will be prepared together. Anyone who wishes can also bring something to eat. The event is open to all interested women; spontaneous participation is also possible.
Registration is requested
For planning purposes, the organizers request prior registration with Ilka Friedrich, pastor for ecumenism and interreligious dialogue in the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt. Participation without registration is also possible.
