Climate protection with humor: “The Grass Sucker” fills the Georg Büchner Hall
GROSS-GERAU DISTRICT – Author and blogger Jan Hegenberg, known as "The Grass Sucker," demonstrated how entertaining climate protection can be on Tuesday (30th) at the Groß-Gerau District Office. Around 80 guests enjoyed an evening full of humor, lightbulb moments, and inspiration.
From the very first minute, Hegenberg took his audience on a journey through the world of climate myths. Using pointed examples, he debunked commonplace clichés about electric cars, discussed Germany's role in climate change, and illuminated the challenges of the energy transition. His goal: to convey complex topics in an understandable and easy-to-understand manner.
Many guests took the opportunity to have his book "Climate Bullshit Bingo" signed and to chat with the author. District Administrator Thomas Will and First District Councilor Adil Oyan were also present. Will emphasized: "The evening demonstrated that climate protection and the energy transition can be not only necessary, but also entertaining."
