State authority presents career prospects - great interest in regional planning, environment and nature conservation
Over 100 visitors informed themselves on Thursday at the second job fair of the regional council (RP) Darmstadt about possible professional perspectives in the state authority. Students, beginners and the end of the career came to the Wilhelminenhaus at the Darmstadt location to exchange ideas with employees from various specialist areas.
Five of the eight departments of the RP presented their versatile fields of work - including regional planning, construction, transport, environment, forestry, agriculture and consumer protection . With more than 16 departments involved, the event offered a wide range of topics. keynote speeches were particularly in demand that even the alternative space designed for 25 people was not sufficient.
Insights in over 5,000 tasks
President of the District Prof. Dr. Jan Hilligardt personally welcomed the participants:
"Today you have the opportunity to get to know the job and career opportunities in our house in a vivid way. I hope that we will soon see you as new colleagues."
The RP Darmstadt takes over around 5,000 tasks - from waste right to zoo supervision - and sees itself as an interface between local and state level. The second edition of the in -house job fair gave direct insights into the working world of the authority and underlined the diverse professional offer in public service .
