Juliana Jaeger presents multifaceted works ranging from painting and sculpture to installation.
The Regional Gallery of Southern Hesse at the Darmstadt Regional Council will dedicate a comprehensive solo exhibition to the artist Juliana Jaeger, opening on December 18, 2025. Titled "That for Example," the show will feature works from three decades, showcasing the full range of her artistic output – from painting and collage to object art and installation.
Juliana Jaeger, who came to art relatively late in life, presents a visual journey of discovery through fantasy, form, and emotion in her exhibition. Her works are characterized by a spirit of experimentation, openness, and a joy of exploration. "That, for example," is not a rigidly defined concept, but rather an invitation to engage with the diversity of possible forms of expression—playful, curious, and profound at the same time.
The exhibition impressively demonstrates how Jaeger understands art as an open field of exploration – full of curiosity, courage, and lightness. Visitors can look forward to a vibrant show that occupies both wings of the Regional Gallery of Southern Hesse.
