Literature Initiative invites you to the series "Literary Scene South Hesse"
As announced by the Literature Initiative within the Darmstadt KulturStärken e. V. association, a reading will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, as part of the "Literary Scene South Hesse . In the gallery of the Rosengarten restaurant, author Jutta Janzen her new social novel "Blossoms Everywhere ," published in 2025 by Coortextverlag.
At the heart of the novel is Marie, who opens the flower shop "Blüten" (Blossoms) – a place where moving and quirky stories unfold: from heartbreak and dares to the small and large dramas of everyday life. Janzen weaves together characters like Micha, Shirin, Leo, and bookseller Jule into a literary kaleidoscope of human experiences.
Jutta Janzen studied journalism, education, and psychology in Mainz and works as a public relations specialist. She is a trained bookseller and a certified freelance editor. She has lived in Darmstadt and southern Hesse for decades. In addition to publishing short prose and poetry in anthologies, she has contributed to non-fiction books. In 2024, she was awarded first prize in the literary competition of the municipality of Stockstadt am Rhein.
