Children sponsor animals and support refugee families
With great dedication and heartfelt enthusiasm, the children of the Pusteblume daycare center committed themselves to a good cause. As part of last year's St. Martin's Day celebrations, they organized their own children's flea market – the result: 200 euros in donations and many happy faces.
Sponsorship of a pony and llama at the sanctuary
The children decided for themselves how they wanted to use the money. Inspired by the example of Saint Martin, they used the proceeds to sponsor two animals at the Kellerranch : the pony Joel and the llama Princess. With this donation, they are helping to ensure the animals' long-term care.
Toy donation for refugee children
But that's not all: The unsold toys were also given to a good cause. They went to the local refugee support group , which uses them to help children from refugee families in Weiterstadt. Thus, the initiative became not only a way to help animals, but also a social statement of solidarity and compassion.
The kindergarten teachers were proud of their charges' commitment. "With their actions, our children have shown how even the youngest can show compassion and take responsibility," said the kindergarten team.
