A supermarket in Erfelden supports the institution with 750 euros
As the city of Riedstadt reports, the Sonnenschein daycare center was delighted to receive a donation from the Rewe supermarket in Erfelden. Nine children from the facility, aged three to six, along with deputy director Francesca Vulpetti and educator Jennifer Wagner, visited store manager Timo Müller and his deputy Jan Riedinger.
At the supermarket, the team not only presented a symbolic check for 750 euros, but also provided the children with drinks and sweets.
The money comes from the revenue generated by customers using the toilets, who pay 50 cents each. "We decided several years ago to make this money available for social causes in Riedstadt," explained Timo Müller.
The donation will enable the Sonnenschein daycare center to purchase a new children's vehicle as well as accessories for the Kapla building blocks used by the children's group.
