A new daycare center with crèche and daycare places will open in Griesheim on August 11, 2025
Griesheim. Good news for families in the Südwest residential area: The new daycare center on Sophie-Scholl-Straße is about to open. The building is fully equipped and ready for occupancy. Currently, only the final finishing touches are being completed inside and out.
The outdoor area is also already taking shape: the play equipment has been installed, and the final work is currently being carried out with the support of the municipal building yard.
The daycare center's management has been in place for several months. During this time, they have not only developed organizational procedures, but also overseen the equipment and hired teaching staff for the operation.
Start with three groups from August
Initially, two crèche groups and one kindergarten group open on August 11, 2025. , additional children will be gradually admitted .
According to the city administration, the number of teaching staff required by law is available.
The new facility will further expand the childcare offerings in Griesheim – a significant step towards family friendliness and early childhood education.
