Songs, chansons and music around the body
With a unique musical program, the artist duo brings the small and large sufferings of the body to the stage-inspired by Ralph Dillmann's own experiences with hospital and rehab.
Whether knee or hip - in everyday clinical practice everyone seems to have their own, often even more complicated handicap. These observations are the starting point of an evening that deals humorous, poetically and musically with the human body. Astonishingly many songs and chansons are devoted to body parts, physical experiences, but also heartache and sensuality. In addition to everyday ailments, the laughing muscles are not neglected.
The program combines classics of the 1920s with cheeky chansons by Georg Kreisler and Bodo Wartke. A musical “therapy” from Friedrich Hollaender and György Ligeti could also have an unexpected effect. An evening full of charm, depth and humorous ease.
