Two live concerts: Funk, soul and Mediterranean folk-pop on two evenings
Weiterstadt. In September 2025, the Weiterstadt Cultural Center will be transformed into a stage for handcrafted music full of energy, passion, and live presence. Two stylistically distinct bands will take center stage on two concert evenings within a single week, united by one thing: the joy of an authentic musical experience.
"Lucky Dip": Funk, Soul & Pop from Mainz
On the first concert evening, the Mainz-based band Lucky Dip danceable grooves and soulful classics to the Kulturbahnhof. Since 2016, the seven-member group has presented a diverse mix of funk, soul, pop, and jazz – featuring horn sections, plenty of charm, and original compositions reminiscent of greats like Marvin Gaye or Diana Ross. Their live shows thrive on their musical interplay and the palpable joy they bring to the music.

“El grupo Nicefield”: Spanish folk-pop with feeling
, El grupo Nicefield takes the stage – with Mediterranean flair, Spanish temperament, and an acoustic sound. The trio of Susanna (vocals), Andreas (vocals, guitar), and Armin (percussion) combines Spanish and Latin American classics with their own songs, telling musical stories full of emotion, joie de vivre, and rhythm.
