Comedy, rock, poetry slam and lectures from February to May
The Kulturcafé Groß-Gerau is launching into spring 2026 with a diverse program. Between the end of February and May, the Kulturcafé hall at Darmstädter Straße 31 in Groß-Gerau will host comedy, rock music, readings, poetry slams, and a lecture.
Comedy to kick things off
The series kicks off on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with comedian Luca Brosius and his program "NA, INTERESSE!?". He was last seen on HR television, performing stand-up, parodies, and slapstick.
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, cabaret artist Tina Häussermann will present her anniversary program "HAPPY KONFETTI". The recipient of the German Cabaret Prize combines wordplay, music, and social observations.
Rock, pop and progressive sounds
Several concerts will shape the musical spring:
- March 2026: 80's Surprise with rock and pop classics from the 1980s
- March 2026: FinestRock with rock classics from AC/DC to Metallica
- April 2026: Digital Life Project with symphonic progressive rock
- April 2026: Nastea with a mix of neo-soul, rock and modern pop
- May 2026: NOTASIS with a "Best of Oasis" show
Reading and political discourse
On April 11, 2026, the Darmstadt artist Diffarent MC will read from his book "On a class trip with Björn Höcke" and combine autobiographical texts with musical contributions.
On March 26, 2026, Dr. Alexander Cherdron, a physician and psychotherapist from Wiesbaden, will address a socially relevant topic. In his lecture, "Depressed or (Just) Feeling Down?", he will provide information on the causes, symptoms, forms of therapy, and prevention of depression. Admission is free, and a discussion will follow.
Poetry Slam No. 7
The seventh Poetry Slam will take place on April 24, 2026, in the Kulturcafé hall. Organized and moderated by Christine-Katharina Krämer, poets will compete against each other with their own texts. The audience decides the winner.
