Attention book lovers: On Saturday, February 8, 2025, the Groß-Gerau city library invites you to a large book flea market. From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the library's top floor will open its doors, offering book lovers the opportunity to browse a wide selection of media – all at bargain prices.
In addition to the regular borrowing and returning of media, the flea market will be the main focus of the morning. "Unfortunately, no flea market took place in autumn 2024. This makes the selection in spring all the larger, and we look forward to welcoming many readers," said Pamela Baer, head of the city library.
Large selection
The book flea market has established itself as a popular meeting place for young and old. "The high demand and the wide selection make the flea market a permanent institution in Groß-Gerau," explains Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau.
Whether you're looking for novels, children's books, non-fiction, or thrilling mysteries – the flea market offers something for everyone. The city library warmly invites all interested parties to browse and discover new reading treasures in a relaxed atmosphere. The library is open on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The flea market will take place on the library's top floor.
