“Understanding, Living, Creating” on 17 October at the Art Gallery at the Büchnerhaus
Under the title “Breast Cancer – Understanding, Living, Shaping,” Jennifer Muth, the Women’s and Equal Opportunities Officer of the Büchnerstadt Riedstadt, invites you to a lecture on Friday, October 17, at 5 p.m. in the art gallery at the Büchnerhaus (Weidstraße 9, Goddelau).
The speakers are Renate Schoenmakers and Karina Bonert from the Heidelberg-Mannheim regional group of the association mamazone – Women and Research Against Breast Cancer . Admission is free.
The nationwide association considers itself the largest breast cancer patient initiative in Germany, with approximately 1,600 members and a scientific advisory board of internationally renowned experts. It advocates for quality in diagnostics, treatment, and aftercare, promotes research and networking, and also offers informational events for healthy women on prevention.
The lecture takes place as part of “Breast Cancer Month October ,” which was first declared in 1985.
