“Understanding, Living, Creating” on October 17th at the art gallery at the Büchnerhaus
Under the title “Breast cancer – Understanding, Living, Shaping”, the women’s and equal opportunities officer of the Büchner city of Riedstadt, Jennifer Muth, invites you to a lecture on Friday, October 17th, at 5 pm in the art gallery at the Büchnerhaus (Weidstraße 9, Goddelau).
The speakers are Renate Schoenmakers and Karina Bonert from the Heidelberg-Mannheim regional group of the association mamazone – Women and Research Against Breast Cancer e.V. Admission is free.
The nationwide association sees itself as the largest breast cancer patient initiative in Germany, with around 1600 members and a scientific advisory board of internationally renowned experts. It advocates for quality in diagnostics, therapy, and aftercare, promotes research and networking, and also offers informational events for healthy women on prevention.
The lecture is taking place as part of "Breast Cancer Awareness Month October" , which was first proclaimed in 1985.
