Submit events online and receive news directly on your smartphone
The Groß-Gerau district is making it easier to access leisure information and current news with new digital services. The focus is on the recently launched leisure portal www.freizeitimkreisgg.de , which brings together attractions between the Rhine and Main rivers under the headings "Experience Culture," "Discover Nature," "Enjoy with All Senses," and "Actively Discover the District."
Particular attention is paid to the integrated events calendar, where interested parties can enter their own events free of charge. The "Submit event free of charge" , which leads to a clear and concise form, is available on the portal's homepage. Alternatively, events can also be sent by email to tourismus@kreisgg.de . The calendar is already being actively used and contains events extending into autumn and winter.
The digital services are complemented by the official WhatsApp channel of the Groß-Gerau district administration , which delivers current event information, news, and job postings directly to smartphones. Direct communication with the administration via this channel is not possible for data protection reasons.
