The district presents its own online portal with leisure and cultural tips
As the press office of the Groß-Gerau district announces, there is now a new point of contact for leisure enthusiasts: The new website www.freizeitimkreisgg.de brings together all offers related to culture, nature, enjoyment and activities in the region.
Previously, this information was rather hidden on the district's homepage – now it is clearly and comprehensively bundled on a dedicated platform.
A wide range of leisure activities at a glance
The new website is divided into different sections:
- Actively explore: cycling and hiking trails, sports activities and outdoor experiences
- Experience culture: museums, historical sights and events
- Explore nature: parks, nature reserves and scenic routes
- Enjoy: Restaurants, farm shops and regional specialties
- Accommodation: Hotels, holiday apartments and campsites
The website inspires exploration and offers a wealth of images and short films that highlight the beauty of the region. Maps aid orientation, and links lead to partners such as the FrankfurtRheinMain tourism destination, the cultural region, the regional park, and the Bergstraße-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park .
