Loan transfer to the Austrian Bundesliga until the end of the season
SV Darmstadt 98 have loaned Leon Klassen out until the end of the current season. The 24-year-old full-back is joining Grazer AK in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Sporting director Paul Fernie explained the move in terms of the player's development. He stated that it was important for Klassen to gain regular playing time. Both parties agreed that a loan move during the winter break would be beneficial to prevent any potential stagnation. In Graz, Klassen can accumulate valuable playing time at a high level. SV Darmstadt 98 will closely monitor his progress until the summer.
Change last summer
Leon Klassen joined Darmstadt 98 from Lyngby BK So far this season, he has made five league appearances for the club.
