No food delivery from 3 p.m. - NGG demands collective bargaining with parent company
Pizza, fries, burgers, kebabs and so much more - and all of this quickly delivered from drivers. But the 6,000 employees in Germany are paid without a tariff. The Lieferando mother group Just Eat Takeaway does not want to get involved in collective bargaining.
The food-enjoyment union union-NGG for short-therefore pulled the ripcord. From 3:00 p.m. in Darmstadt on Thursday (17th), no drivers swung on the e-bike. No food was also delivered in Mainz, Frankfurt and Offenbach. Lieferando has been deaf for two years, says NGG-Rhein-Main managing director Anna Langensiepen. "Especially after the high inflation of recent years, a collective agreement is more than overdue."
