The first running event of SV Darmstadt 98 Stadion GmbH will start on August 27, 2025
Lilien Relay Marathon will take place for the first time on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor . This new sporting event is aimed at running enthusiasts from Darmstadt and the surrounding region who want to complete a marathon or half-marathon distance together as a relay team.
The focus is on teamwork: Whether colleagues, friends, club members, or neighboring groups – relay teams can consist of two to eight people. Individuals without team affiliation have the opportunity to be assigned to suitable relay teams on site.
Diverse routes through the Böllenfalltor forest
The start and finish lines are located directly in the stadium. The varied course winds through the adjacent wooded area and follows the route of the Merck Corporate Run. Distances of approximately 3.5 km, 5.0 km, and 10.0 km are available. Refreshments, including drinks and typical stadium snacks, are available in the finish area – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the end of the day together.
Early booking discount until mid-July
SV Darmstadt 98 Stadion GmbH aims to establish a sporting highlight with this new format, combining exercise, community, and fun. The first starting places have already been allocated. Those interested can register until August 18th; a discounted early bird rate is available until mid-July.
