Over 100 artists are transforming Lincoln Wall with live graffiti and hip-hop
Darmstadt. On Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7, the Lincoln settlement will be transformed into a center for graffiti and street art: At the "Lincoln Wall Jam 2025," more than 100 artists from Germany and abroad will decorate the 640-meter-long Lincoln Wall along the B3 highway. The live painting will be accompanied by hip-hop acts, DJ sets, and a creative participatory program.
“It’s great to see that the Lincoln Wall Jam has become established in Darmstadt. What started as an initiative by young people has become a festival that is not only an institution for the graffiti scene, but also open to people who want to try out their creativity,” says Mayor Barbara Akdeniz.
Alongside established international artists, young talents will also present their work. Visitors can try their hand at graffiti spray painting in the workshop – accessible and open to everyone aged eight and up.
Program:
Saturday, September 6:
- 11 a.m. Opening
- Live painting
- DJ sets by local artists
- Secret headliner (announced two weeks in advance on Instagram)
- Graffiti workshops from 2 pm
Sunday, September 7:

Lincoln Wall was declared a legal graffiti area in 2015 and has since become a meeting place for creativity, diversity, and community. The Lincoln Wall Jam was first held in 2016, and since 2022, it has been organized by the club "1. SC Lincoln Wall".
