A lecture on November 17th offers tips for independent living in old age.
District of Groß-Gerau. How can you design your home so that independent living remains possible even in old age? This question will be addressed at an information event by the care support center and senior services planning department of the district of Groß-Gerau on Monday, November 17, 2025 , from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Peter Schöffer Room of the Groß-Gerau District Office . The presentation is free of charge.
consultant Gerti Zorn and Sabine Walter from the care support center provide practical insights and answer questions about "Living in Old Age" . The aim is to show older people ways in which they independently, safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Topics of the event
The experts provide information about existing services and address, among other things, the following questions:
- What assistive devices make everyday life easier for the elderly?
- How can living space be adapted to individual needs?
- What technical support options are useful?
- What financing options are available?
- When is it to move to a different type of accommodation ?
The event offers space for questions, exchange and personal consultation .
