Musical fireworks on June 29th in the garden of the Protestant Church
Under the open sky and in a special atmosphere: On Sunday, June 29th , starting at 6:00 pm, the virtuoso Gypsy guitar of Lulo Reinhardt the energetic Balkan sound of the Absinto Orkestra . The event will take place in the garden of the Evangelical Church in Leeheim (Kirchstraße 1) and promises an open-air concert full of passion and rhythmic diversity .
The organizer is the association BüchnerFindetStatt , which is organizing the concert as a summer addition to its annual winter event in Riedstadt-Leeheim.
Top-class musicians – united on one stage
Lulo Reinhardt is one of the most internationally renowned voices in Gypsy music. His compositions combine the musical tradition of the Sinti with flamenco, Latin, and Arabic influences – a globally celebrated style that has earned him, among other accolades, the German Record Critics' Award .
The Absinto Orkestra is firmly established in the folk and world music scene. With their repertoire, the five musicians musically transport the audience to the Balkan region , the Mediterranean , and as far as the edge of the Ural Mountains – accompanied by groove, violin sounds, saxophone, and multi-part vocals.
Reinhardt and the orchestra have been working together regularly since 2014, offering the audience an impressive interplay of virtuosity, melancholy, humor and rhythmic exhilaration .
