“Ready for contradiction” on April 11th at the Theater Mobile
Musician and cabaret artist Matthias Ningel will be performing his current program "Widerspruchreif" at the Theater Mobile in Zwingenberg on April 11, 2025. The musical cabaret evening begins at 8 p.m.
In his fourth stage show, Matthias Ningel views the world with a keen eye for the paradoxical. He shows that the contradictory is often what is essential, and finds beauty in ugliness, fascination in the repulsive, and poetry in the everyday. His songs and stories are as profound as they are humorous. He tells of a hunt in which the hunters become the hunted, of a friendship that transforms into a wrecked waltz, and of a visit to a fair that raises the question of whether it's more eerie inside or outside the haunted house.
With a keen sense of wordplay and surprising perspectives, Matthias Ningel creates a cabaret panorama full of music, philosophy, and sharp-tongued humor. The program is a mixture of lightheartedness and reflection, full of nuances that sometimes shock, sometimes enchant.
