The center-back joins Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC on loan
SV Darmstadt 98 have loaned central defender Meldin Dreskovic to Hungarian first division club Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC . The 27-year-old joins the club on loan to regain regular playing time.
Fernie: Focus on more playing time
“Understandably, Meldin wants significantly more playing time than he has accumulated with us so far and most likely would have received in the upcoming second half of the season,” explains Darmstadt sporting director Paul Fernie . “The loan move to Hungary is a sensible solution to give him regular playing time again. He knows the Hungarian league and has already shown good performances there.”
Moved to Darmstadt a year ago
Dreskovic moved to Darmstadt from Hungarian first division club Debreceni VSC . The center-back has made two competitive appearances for the Lilies so far.
