School and kindergarten groups from the Darmstadt-Dieburg district and the region can now easily travel to the Moller Haus theater . Thanks to a cooperation with Merck, the Merck Theaterbus available to which children and accompanying persons bring to the theater free of charge and without changing from their facility within a radius of 25 kilometers. "Especially for children's groups outside of Darmstadt, the journey is often a big hurdle," explains Kristina Werner , Managing Director of Children's and Youth Culture in the Moller Haus theater. “Many performances therefore had to be laid in gyms or aules. But real theater experience only arises on site-the Merck Theaterbus helps to overcome this barrier. ”
In addition to the logistical relief, the new offer also offers a solution for educational institutions that suffer from a shortage of skilled workers and high disease stands. "The journey becomes easier, even with fewer accompanying persons, without endangering the narrow schedule of breakfast, lunch and homework supervision," continued Werner.
