The South Hesse Bereavement Network invites you to a free service
As the organizers announce, a walk for mourners will take place on Saturday, September 27th, through the Rosenhöhe and Oberfeld areas in Darmstadt. The meeting point is at 2 p.m. at the Löwentor (Lion Gate) on the Rosenhöhe. The walk is expected to last a maximum of two hours.
The invitation states that walking together in nature provides an opportunity to address and share experiences of loss. The walk will be accompanied by qualified grief counselors.
The participating services include the bereavement support service of the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt, the ecumenical church shop "Kirche und Co.", the Protestant Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Darmstadt, the Working Group for Bereavement Support in the Protestant Church in Hesse and Nassau, and the Malteser Hospice Center Darmstadt/South Hesse. They are members of the South Hesse Bereavement Network.
The event is open to all denominations and free of charge. The walk will take place regardless of the weather. Registration is possible until September 25th – by email to kircheundco@kircheundco.de or by phone at +49 6151 296415.
