Autumn concert with OBO and Klaus Dengler on November 16th in Darmstadt
The popular "Music in the Tower" its on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Darmstadt Water Tower . Under the title "Mediterranean Guitar Romance," OBO and Klaus Dengler a roughly 50-minute program of music for guitar and bass – characterized by warm sounds and a Mediterranean atmosphere.
The Darmstadt-based musician and composer OBO draws on elements of Oriental, Spanish, and Mediterranean music in his works. For over 45 years, he has been a defining figure in the local music scene and can look back on an extensive body of work. In the 1980s, he toured Darmstadt's European twin cities as a cultural ambassador with the legendary guitar duo "El Duo Flamen," making his music known far beyond the region.
The concert invites you to a relaxing afternoon with coffee, cake, and guitar music. Admission is free; the tower and coffee bar open at 4 p.m. Seat reservations are not possible – those who arrive early have the best chance of getting a seat.
