Benefit concert at the Bessunger Boys' School raised a five-figure sum
the association "Musiker helfen Kindern eV" a donation of €9,855 to the association "Krebskranke und Chronike Kinder Darmstadt eV ." This was preceded by the traditional benefit concert at the Bessungen Boys' School , which raised the sum.
The recipient organization advises and supports families with sick children in Darmstadt, providing them with financial support and offerings such as psychomotor therapy, music education , and clay work. The organization does not receive any government funding; its assistance is based entirely on donations.
Since its founding in 2010, Musicians Help Children eV funds for projects that care for, support, and assist sick children and young people. "All participants are passionate about their work and are committed to it on a voluntary basis," explained chairman Jürgen Galsheimer . They are proud to be able to contribute to social cohesion through their involvement.
Deputy chairman Andreas Trägler the band Great Around Town including singer Sandra Patsis , who waived their fees for this year's concert. Numerous companies also supported the event with donations or raffle prizes.
The donation amount was now presented during a ceremonial check presentation in the premises of the Darmstadt association.
