Volunteers wanted – joint action against littering (registration form included)
"Littering" sounds harmless, but it refers to a real problem: carelessly discarded trash on sidewalks, playgrounds, and in wooded areas. With its "Clean Environment Day," the municipality of Nauheim since 1988. In 2025, residents are once again invited to join forces to clean up streets, paths, and green spaces – for a cleaner townscape and greater awareness in everyday life.
Mayor Marc Friedrich emphasizes the dual benefit of the initiative: Collecting litter together not only beautifies the surroundings, but also encourages reflection on one's own consumption and waste disposal habits. The event is being organized by Benedikt Schniedermeyer Nauheim Business Association is providing refreshments for the volunteers ; after the cleanup, everyone will gather for food and drinks at the municipal depot.

Get involved – here's how
For better planning, the municipality requests registration via the participation form : Clean Environment Day 2025 / Municipality of Nauheim (link on the municipality's website). Gloves and weatherproof clothing are recommended; garbage bags and collection equipment will be provided on site.
The initiative thrives on community involvement : clubs, families, neighborhoods, school classes, or individuals – everyone is welcome. Anyone who invests a few hours of their time makes a visible contribution to the environment, nature, and quality of life in Nauheim.
