Volunteers wanted – joint action against littering (with registration form)
"Littering" sounds harmless, but it represents a real nuisance: carelessly discarded garbage on sidewalks, playgrounds, and in wooded areas. With "Clean Environment Day," the municipality of Nauheim since 1988. In 2025, residents are invited to join forces to clear streets, paths, and green spaces of litter – for a cleaner townscape and greater awareness in everyday life.
Mayor Marc Friedrich emphasizes the dual effect of the event: Collecting together not only beautifies the environment, it also encourages people to reflect on their own consumption and waste disposal habits. The day is organized by Benedikt Schniedermeyer Nauheim Trade Association is providing food and drink for the volunteers ; after the work is done, everyone meets for food and drinks at the building yard.

Get involved – here's how
For better planning, the municipality requests registration using the participation form : Clean Environment Day 2025 / Nauheim Municipality (link on the municipality website). Gloves and weatherproof clothing are recommended; garbage bags and garbage collection equipment will be provided on site.
The project thrives on community : clubs, families, neighborhoods, school classes, and individuals are all welcome. Anyone who invests a few hours of their time makes a visible contribution to the environment, nature, and quality of life in Nauheim.
