A delightful baked apple evening with a year in review
For the first time this year, the members of the Nauheim Country Women's Association met at the association's headquarters, Café Stelzer, as the board invited them to a delightful baked apple evening with a review of the year in words and pictures.
Forty members gathered and were delighted by the aroma of the baked apples. After a warm welcome from the chairwoman, the women moved into the cozy atmosphere of the café to enjoy the traditional baked apples, served with delicious homemade vanilla sauce.
The Stelzer family, especially Renate Turbanisch, the daughter of the house, took charge of preparing the delicious meal. Prior to the presentation, several board members had set up the technical equipment so that all members could follow the annual review in words and pictures.
Anne, Gabi Bender, Alexandra, and Marita entertained the audience with their hour-long review of the year, which they also moderated. The women listened attentively, and some recognized themselves in the photos presented, which were compiled by Marita May and Alexandra Igerst. At the end of the evening, the board thanked the two women on behalf of all the attendees with a beautiful floral arrangement.
It was a delightful evening filled with enjoyment and good conversation, culminating in a convivial gathering. The rural women are looking forward to the upcoming activities in 2025 and to meeting again next year to continue the tradition of baked apples and the annual review with fellow members.
