Elfriede Schnitzspan elected to the board
The Hans Erich and Marie Elfriede Dotter Foundation is pleased to announce a significant change in its management structure: Since January 1, 2025, Elfriede Schnitzspan has been serving as the new board member of the foundation and supports the direction and expertise of the board.
As a former member of the advisory board of the Dotter Foundation, Elfriede Schnitzspan, managing director of Mobile Praxis gGmbH, has been familiar with many funding projects since 2021 and, as a trained social pedagogue with decades of experience, is very well connected in Eberstadt.
“With this new appointment, the foundation gains further expertise that will sustainably complement and expand our work,” explains Karl G. Dotter, Managing Chairman of the Board of the foundation. With Ms. Schnitzspan joining the board, her extensive experience, particularly in social issues, which she has already contributed to the advisory board, will be even more effectively utilized.
Since 2014, the Dotter Foundation has been committed to supporting projects in the areas of child, youth, and senior welfare, art and culture, education, and local history and heritage, in accordance with the wishes of its founders, Hans Erich and Marie Elfriede Dotter. It is therefore an important partner for local associations, schools, churches, and other organizations, and operates exclusively within its designated area of operation, Eberstadt. The Dotter Foundation fulfills its purpose through grant-making and collaborative projects, as well as operational projects initiated and implemented by the foundation itself. All of these projects are financed by the proceeds from the assets that the founders, as sole heirs, bequeathed to the foundation from the sale of Goldwell GmbH.
With the new board member, the foundation aims to continue providing impetus and realizing its vision for the continued positive development of Eberstadt, the founders' hometown. Elfriede Schnitzspan gladly accepted the election and looks forward to her new role working with her fellow board members.
