Police appoint new leaders in Bergstraße, Groß-Gerau and Darmstadt-Dieburg
As the South Hesse Police Headquarters reports, several leadership positions in the regional criminal investigation departments have been filled. New managers are taking over responsibility for criminal investigation work in three districts, while in the Odenwald district, the leadership will initially be on an interim basis.

New head of the criminal investigation department in the Bergstraße district
A new head of the criminal investigation department in the Bergstraße district, two new heads of the criminal investigation department in the Groß-Gerau district and the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, and a currently acting head of the criminal police in the Odenwald district: The responsibility for the regional criminal investigation departments has been placed in new hands at the South Hesse Police Headquarters.
In the Bergstraße district, 37-year-old Police Superintendent Dominique Weber will head the Criminal Investigation Department, succeeding Criminal Director Benjamin Henne, who was appointed head of the Bergstraße Police Directorate some time ago. After completing her studies, Superintendent Weber served as an operational officer with the Hessian riot police and in patrol duty in Wiesbaden. She also held various leadership positions at the Hessian Ministry of the Interior, as a state liaison officer at the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Berlin, and at the Frankfurt Police Headquarters. In her free time, the 37-year-old enjoys sports, playing tennis, fitness training, and hiking.
Change at the top of the Darmstadt-Dieburg Criminal Investigation Department
Police Director Thomas Heberer, 50, is the new head of the Darmstadt-Dieburg Regional Criminal Investigation Department. He recently took over the position from Christian Resch, who transferred to the Offenbach Police Directorate. For approximately 20 years, Heberer's career focused on the Southeast Hesse Police Headquarters in Offenbach. He also served on the staff of the State Police Headquarters in Wiesbaden and most recently as head of the Traffic Safety Directorate at the Frankfurt Police Headquarters. He is married, has two young children, and lives in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district.
New head of criminal investigations in the Groß-Gerau district
In the Groß-Gerau district, Police Superintendent Patrick Sebischka has taken over as head of the Criminal Investigation Department, succeeding Alexander Lorenz, who now leads the Odenwald Police Directorate. The 34-year-old Sebischka initially served with the Hessian riot police after completing his studies, and later as a patrol officer at the Eschborn police station. Following various leadership and staff positions at the West Hesse and Frankfurt police headquarters, he successfully completed his master's degree at the German Police University in Münster. Patrick Sebischka lives in Montabaur, Rhineland-Palatinate, and is looking forward to the diverse tasks and challenges ahead.
Acting management in the Odenwald district
The current acting head of the regional criminal investigation department of the Odenwald police directorate is Chief Detective Inspector Andreas Wedeleit. He is temporarily replacing Senior Detective Superintendent Ralf Levita, who retired in November.
