The "Made in Southern Hesse" network, which in the past served as an important platform for regional companies, start-ups, artists, and authors, is to be revived. The relaunch marks a new impetus for the southern Hessian economy to network more effectively and leverage synergies.
A look back at successful beginnings
"Made in Southern Hesse" was originally launched to strengthen the regional economy, connect local businesses, and promote collaborative projects. Numerous events, workshops, and networking evenings have fostered lively exchange and contributed to closer cooperation within the Southern Hessian economy. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups, in particular, have benefited from the synergies created within the network. Artists and authors have also been able to present their work to a wider audience through the network.
A fresh start with a new concept
The "Made in Southern Hesse" network is being revitalized with new ideas and a clear focus. "We've realized that a purely digital network isn't enough to achieve our goals. That's why we're planning to organize regular meetings and events where entrepreneurs can connect in person," explains Ulrich Diehl, who, together with Alexander Götz, is breathing new life into the network. "These meetings won't be weekly," adds Alexander Götz, "but it's important that we see each other at least once a quarter. These gatherings will have the character of both an event and a trade fair. They'll provide a platform for presentations and for articulateding needs. The focus will be on lively and productive exchange."
In addition to in-person meetings, the network's social media presence will be redesigned. The focus will be on active and regular interaction on LinkedIn, where not only will current information about members and their offerings be shared, but ideas for joint projects and collaborations will also be generated. "We want to leverage the synergies between companies in the region even more effectively," Götz emphasized.
Solid arguments for membership
In addition to the planned meetings and increased social media presence, the proven benefits of membership in "Made in Südhessen" remain: Members benefit from a free advertisement in M-Magazine, significantly reduced rates for advertisements in publications of Ulrich Diehl Verlag und Medien GmbH, the use of the "Made in Südhessen" logo, and other perks. The network's website and interactive platform will undergo a fundamental overhaul and partial redevelopment in the coming weeks and months.

Together for a strong region
This relaunch offers a unique opportunity to tackle current challenges together and strengthen the region sustainably. Members are encouraged to actively participate and contribute fresh ideas and commitment to shaping and developing the network. Those responsible are confident: "Together, we can establish 'Made in Southern Hesse' as a flagship project for regional economic development and make it a model for successful networking and economic cooperation."
The relaunch is scheduled for completion by the end of the year, so that all the benefits of membership can be fully utilized from 2025 onwards. Before that, an initial "initial" event will take place in 2024, where existing and new network partners can get to know each other, and Ulrich Diehl and Alexander Götz will present the new "Made in Southern Hesse" initiative.
