New Year's Concert with the Johann Strauss Orchestra Frankfurt on January 4th
As the city of Weiterstadt announces, the traditional New Year's concert on Saturday, January 4, 2025 , will open the new year with a musical highlight. The concert begins at 4 p.m. , with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. Under the direction of Witolf Werner , who delighted audiences last year, visitors can expect a festive and atmospheric concert.
“Hofburg meets Hollywood” – Music at the highest level
The concert, themed "Hofburg meets Hollywood," will be performed by the renowned Johann Strauss Orchestra Frankfurt , also known as the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra. Founded in 1986 by Günther Gräf , the ensemble consists primarily of musicians from opera houses in the Rhine-Main region.
Thanks to its musical flexibility and high artistic quality, the orchestra presents concert formats of the highest caliber – a standard regularly confirmed by audiences and the music press. This year, soloists Manami Okazaki and Agustin Sanchez the program with their expressive voices.
Admission and advance booking
Tickets are available from Monday, November 17, 2025 , at the Weiterstadt town hall . The ticket price is 15 euros .
As in previous years, the volunteers of the "Tour of Hope" drinks before the start and during the break. The proceeds will go to a good cause.
