On the way with the mayor candidates
The country women's association Nauheim started the new year with its traditional New Year's hike, in which 63 participants participated, including the mayor candidates of the municipality of Nauheim: Prof. Dr. Steffen Blaschke, Max Hochstädter and Alexander Nold.
Even if Marc Friedrich could not be present personally, he sent a warm New Year's greetings from vacation. The meeting point for the New Year's hike was the old town hall, where the members and guests were welcomed by the board members with a cup of hot mulled wine. Anne Dammel opened the event with optimistic and warm words. The mayor candidates then put short greetings to the assembled country women, expressed their appreciation for their commitment and wished a healthy new year.
The deputy chairman Gabi Bender then informed about the route. The one and a half hour hike led from the old town hall through the historic town center, along the Waldwiesengraben, through field, forest and hallway. A highlight was the sight of the flooded meadows, where storks, ducks and Nilgäse frolicked.
The goal of the hike was Hochwimmer's Stübchen, here the participants were greeted in a friendly manner and you were looking forward to coffee, delicious cakes and nice conversations. During the cozy get -together, the country women were able to look forward to a donation and appreciative words from host Hochwimmer, which emphasized the importance and social commitment of the association. It was believed that such an event, like the hike, is not only a nice start to the new year, but also strengthens the community and the commitment of the members.
