Political exchange on the local elections in the Ernst-Ludwig-Saal
The CDU Eberstadt invites you to its traditional New Year's reception on Friday, January 9, 2026, in the Ernst-Ludwig-Saal in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. The event begins at 7 p.m. The reception is exceptionally being held on the second Friday of the year.
The focus of the evening will be political discussion with a view to the local elections on March 15, 2026. Several prominent representatives of the CDU from the city and district are expected to attend.
Guests from city politics and youth organizations
The scheduled guests are Caroline Groß , lead candidate and parliamentary group leader of the CDU in the Darmstadt city council, and Björn Sievers Peter Franz, chairman of the CDU Eberstadt and member of the state parliament, they will provide insights into key issues in local politics.
According to the organizers, the event will address the programs of both the CDU Darmstadt and the Eberstadt CDU for the upcoming local elections. Furthermore, there will be an opportunity for personal discussions with the CDU Eberstadt candidates throughout the evening.
Greeting from Paul Georg Wandrey
Another greeting is expected from Paul Georg Wandrey . The head of transport and public order for the city of Darmstadt is also the district chairman of the CDU and will speak on current local political issues.
As with previous New Year's receptions, musical entertainment and refreshments will be provided.
