The Groß-Gerau district takes another step towards digital future and expands its communication channels: Citizens of the district can now also find out about news and activities in the district via WhatsApp channel. This is intended to further improve the service for the population.
“At a time when social media and messenger services are an integral part of our daily life, the introduction of a WhatsApp channel is a modern and user-friendly way to find out more. WhatsApp is one of the most popular communication platforms worldwide and has a high number of users, ”says District Administrator Thomas Will, who hopes for even more range from the additional channel for reports from his circle.
Important information can be spread quickly and easily via the new channel. WhatsApp is far from being the only way to find out about circle matters. Press releases can of course be found on the homepage www.kreirgg.de , and the public relations work of the district administration Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube also plays as many people as possible. Direct communication with the administration via the WhatsApp channel is not possible, so that no personal or sensitive data is requested.
