A Riedstadt author will present her romance novel at the art gallery at the Büchnerhaus on October 1st
Riedstadt author Nicole Knoblauch will present her romance novel "A Summer for Two Hearts" on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7 p.m. The reading will take place in the art gallery at the Büchnerhaus. Knoblauch publishes the novel under the name Marie Hatzbach.
The book centers on Lena Wagner, who devotes most of her time to her coffee roastery. She regularly visits her grandmother Renate at the convent. One day, Gerhard Diehl moves in – Renate's former fiancé, who left her 60 years ago.
Two generations and an old story
The reunion brings to light different memories of their shared past. At the same time, Lena meets Gerhard's grandson Felix. Together, they try to get their grandparents talking to each other again.
At the reading in Riedstadt, Nicole Knoblauch gives insights into the novel published under her pseudonym Marie Hatzbach.
Tickets cost eight euros
Admission to the reading is €8. Tickets are available online at Reservix and at local ticket outlets for events organized by the cultural office and "BüchnerFindetStatt". These include the reception at Riedstadt Town Hall, the BüchnerBühne Theatercafé in Leeheim, Florales & Handmade Riedstadt in Goddelau, the Faktotum bookstore in Wolfskehlen, the Bornhofen bookstore in Gernsheim, and the reception at the Groß-Gerau District Office.
