Restrictions due to mobile network upgrades until September 5th
Darmstadt. Work to upgrade mobile network coverage will be carried out in the Darmstadt City Tunnel from Monday, August 18th, to Friday, September 5th, 2025. upgrading to the 5G mobile standard and will exclusively at night between 8 pm and 5 am .
During the construction period, there will be lane closures . However, the entrances and exits to the parking garages in the City Tunnel area will remain fully accessible .
The work is being carried out as part of the ongoing technical modernization of the city's infrastructure. A complete road closure is not planned.
