Renewal of mobile phone coverage with 5G leads to narrowing of the road
Further work to upgrade mobile phone coverage in the Darmstadt City Tunnel from Monday, September 15, to Friday, September 26, 2025 , between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. The goal is to equip the tunnel with the 5G mobile communications standard .
During construction, the roadway in the tunnel will be narrowed . However, the entrances and exits to the parking garages will remain open without restrictions.
