Background: Protection against gambling addiction
A ban in the OASIS system can be entered upon request through a self-ban or a third-party ban. Upon entering an arcade, casino, or betting agency, your identity is checked against the ban system. If a ban is recorded, access must be denied. This also applies to online gambling permitted in Germany.
